Forum Rules

Post by Admin on Sun Sep 25, 2011 12:21 am

These are the terms and conditions that you sign up to when you join this forum - please review this very very carefully, as it is very important:

The moderators of this forum will try hard to edit or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible. However, it is impossible for them to review all the messages. You thus admit that all the messages posted on this forum express the sight and opinion of their respective authors and not those of the moderators or the Webmaster (except messages posted by them) and consequently, they cannot be held responsible of the discussions.

This forum uses cookies to store information on your computer. These cookies will not contain any personal information; they are only used to improve comfort while browsing. The address e-mail is only used in order to confirm the details of your registration as your password (and also to send you back your password if you forget it).

- Aggressive or slanderous messages, as well as personal insults and critics, the coarseness and vulgarities, and more generally any message contravening the French laws are prohibited.
- Messages who promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited.
- If you post informations which come from another site
, look first if the site in question doesn't forbid it. Show the address of the site in question in order to respect the work of their administrators!
- Please post your messages only once. The repetitions are unpleasant and useless!
- Please make an effort on grammar and spelling. SMS-style language (ex: r u sk8ing?) is not advised!

Any message contravening the listing above will be edited or removed without additional notice or justification within deadlines which will depend on the availability of the moderators. Any abuse will involve the cancellation of the registration. Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right! We reserve ourselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of any malevolent behavior. An IP address of each poster is recorded in order to help us to make you respect these conditions.

In addition to the T&C above, there are a few other rules we ask you to adhere to - specific to this community. We want you all to enjoy using these forums, and do not wish to have too many rules, but some are necessary to protect all members of the community.

Respect of Fellow Members
It is accepted that from time to time members will disagree with each others opinions, beliefs or advice, but we ask that all members post with respect of others' point of view, and do not let their posts degrade into petty arguments or personal attacks. Name calling will not be tolerated.

Breeding Feeders
This forum does not condone the practice of breeding feeders and while we accept that some members may own reptiles as well as rats we ask that the topic is not discussed here. This is primarily a forum about pets, and there are plenty of other forums to discuss this topic.

Spamming, Trolling and Flaming
Spamming is using the board for unwanted advertising. Trolling is deliberately trying to disrupt the community in any way by posting inappropriately. Flaming is causing heated arguments which sometime degenerate into 'flame wars' and personal vendettas. None of the above will be tolerated here.

Adult Material & Profanity
Please remember this is a family forum with some members under 16 years of age. Profanity and any questionable material will be removed at the administrators' and moderators' discretion.

One Strike Only System
In an effort to enforce the rules and allow members to have a chance to change their ways and remain members of the community if a rule is broken, one warning is given before action is taken. If you break a rule, you will be sent a warning by PM or email. If this warning is ignored, you will instantly be banned - either permanently or temporarily (at the discretion of the moderators). Please understand that moderators and administrators will always try to act fairly but that in some instances it may be necessary to ban immediately and ask questions later, this is again at the discretion of the moderators. In order to protect our membership moderators and administrators have the right to make any amendments to these rules when they see fit to do so.

It is accepted that not everyone will read the rules before posting, and anyone receiving a warning will be asked to look through these rules. Whilst moderators work hard to keep everything running smoothly, sometimes posts that violate a rule can get missed, and we ask that members can be responsible for themselves. We ask that you report such posts, rather than replying to them. It is greatly appreciated if you can aid moderators by reporting any abuse of the rules that is witnessed - by contacting a moderator and providing a link to the offending post.

You can send a PM to the usernames of: staff - if a post is found to violate the rules - it will be deleted immediately, including any replies to it - and the offending poster will be warned or banned, depending on the seriousness of the violation.

Multiple accounts
Members are asked not to create multiple accounts under any circumstances. Anyone found doing so will have one of the accounts deleted or deactivated and a warning will be issued. Anyone having problems logging in with their existing account can email us if it is not a forgotten password issue, and we will endeavor to help solve the problem. Our email address is:- zoundzy@hotmail.com

Anyone who is banned from the forum for any reason - either temporarily or permanently, will have all accounts deactivated, and their Internet Server Provider will be informed of the abuse of their account (being used dishonestly) if they attempt to make multiple accounts whilst the ban is in place.

thank you.
