Trying out my new lens…

Post by Lew on Thu Jul 05, 2012 4:16 am

I bought a new lens for my camera today (a 50mm f1.8 prime, for those interested), so I thought I’d give it a try with some flash-free ratty pics as it is supposed to take good pics in low light. I’m very impressed with how they came out. Smile

They're gorgeous! (and the pics aren't bad either Laugh ) definitely did a good job in low light! (jealous)

Aww, they are stunning Love Absolutely beautiful. Are the ones with the brown patches on their noses Siamese dumbos? And is one a rex on top of that? They're so lovely Smile I love the blurry background in the first photos, very professional-looking Smile x

The two larger boys are Siamese dumbos, one of the babies is a Russian blue point Siamese rex, one is a Russian blue point Siamese rex dumbo and one is a Burmese rex dumbo.

I didn’t breed the older boys. I lent one of them (Rom, the rat in my avatar) for stud to a breeder and got the two dumbo babies from that litter. The other baby is from Hakuna Matata Rattery.
