Cute.. what are mice like as pets? I heard they smell more then rats but do they require similar care?

Similar care yes, though they're not as interactive as rats, and prefer thir own company to yours. They eat much the same, and need much the same environment though Smile they definitely smell more - but it's not a smell I mind (though the males really do smell a lot!).

What type of cage would you use for your mice? Sorry for the questions I've just never known anyone with mice. Your girls are crazy colours too.. what are their varieties?

I use a Gabber type tank - because of the rats, I don't want to risk the mice escaping, and also they seem much more fearful when in an open cage. Plenty of people use cages with very narrow bar spacing though Smile

Varieties wise, I'm not too sure! I know that Currer is a Black Tan - I've wanted one since I was about 13!!! Acton is a Dove Tan. The other two are Doves - but I think there's something else going on with one or both of them as they are totally different colours. Not very well up on Mouse varieties though!

Yay! I love these girls, I think Acton is maybe my favourite when it comes to looks Wink I think you should get one of them doing their upside down gymnastics Laugh

In response to the above comments, my Tybalt doesn't smell, he honestly doesn't, it's not me being daft Tongue When we first got him he stank the place out and will if we put his cage in a new room but once he's balanced (somewhere familiar in old, well pooped bedding) his stink reduces to nothing. I swear! Tongue

I am absolutely sure that's true - the whole being used to his surroundings thing (means he's not scent marking as much) but when he was here, he was a smelly little sod! ;D
