Plastic links in rat cage?

Plastic links in rat cage?

Hey guys! Grin 

So I heard you can put plastic,colorful links in your rats cage. Do you guys have any in your cage?Confused 
Is it safe for them? If so would the ones below be suitable? I know its not the same but its kind of similar :

Can't speak for those exact ones, but we certainly use plastic links - the kind you get for babies to play with - look like giant, colourful shower curtain hooks! Grin

Oh yeah I know the ones Big Grin I'll have a look out for those now that I know what they are Laugh I would of never of thought of using those before I saw some pics online of other peoples rat cages!
